Aaron Bishir

Obituary of Aaron Araya Ciera Bishir

Aaron C. Bishir (formerly known as Araya) of Sauk Rapids, MN, born May 4th, 2000, lost his battle with depression on April 14th, 2025, at the age of 24. Aaron was an amazing person who cared about everyone around him and would literally give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He always put the needs of others above his own. Aaron was also a fantastic artist. He created things ranging from drawings and sketches, to paintings, sculptures and creations like masks and tails for his little sister and for himself. Aaron gave a lot to ensure the safety of the environment. He was very intelligent and cared very much for animals having 9 cats, a dog, fish and several mice and rats, as well as 2 birds. He would spend his last dime to ensure they were all in good health. Aaron spent much of his time with his family and especially his siblings whom he cared about more than anything. Aaron was proud of who he was, including as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and brought warmth, courage, and authenticity to everyone who knew him. His presence never failed to bring joy into the room.

Aaron was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother Dorothy Marr and Great Uncle Stephen Marr. Aaron is survived by his Mother Shannon, Step-Father Evan Weichman, Sisters Nevaeh, Gracie, Violet, and Willow Bishir, Grandmother Debra Scholl, Grandfather James Bishir, Aunt and Uncle Jessica and Ben Venske, Uncle Thomas, Cousins Jeffrey and Julia Witthuhn & Jacob and Zoe Venske.

Aaron was loved more than he could ever know and made a huge impact in the  short time he was here. He will forever be an inspiration. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. We will all be waiting to see him on the other side when we are finally called home.

A memorial will be held on Saturday May 31st at 3 P.M. at the Sauk Rapids Municipal  Park, 1001 River Ave N, Sauk Rapids MN, 56379.
