Obituary of Beverly Joan Berg

Beverly Joan Berg

Passed away on May 26th of 2025, at the age of 90. She was a resident of Maplewood, Minnesota.

Born on January 12th 1935 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the loving daughter of Thomas J Bond and Virginia L. Pearson.

Beverly was well known for how loudly she proclaimed her love for Jesus. She made it her lifelong mission to share his message with every single person she encountered. She treasured her family and cherished the moments she shared with each of them. She never let an opportunity to take a photo pass her by. She loved to crochet, paint and attempt to create culinary delicacies. (Her family often joked that she could burn water.) Beverly was beloved by everyone who knew her, including her care staff. She was always one to induce a giggle from even the most serious of people. She was an avid collector of books and movies. (Half Price Books was the gracious recipient of a substantial amount of her income) She enjoyed incorporating Elvis into her day-to-day as much as possible. She loved butterflies.

She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Virginia Bond, ex-husband Leslie Berg, daughter Penny Killmer, Son Leslie Jr. and son-in-law Bruce Killmer.

She is survived by brothers Thomas and Dennis, sons Randall, Scott, and Daniel as well as grandchildren Melissa, Melody, Kellene, Candace, Corrien, Sunnie, Jamison, Kyle, Z. Titus, Jordan, Alana, Brittney, Jeremiah and Josiah. (As well as many great-grandchildren!)

Beverly will be celebrated through one of her favorite things, a picnic! This will take place at the Erd-Geist Gazebo within Matoska Park at 4810 Lake Avenue North, in White Bear Lake, MN. The picnic will be from 12-2pm on Saturday, June 21st 2025.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to assist in end of life expenses.
