JoAnn Margaret "Joey" Lindblad Obituary
Lindblad, JoAnn Margaret "Joey", 87, passed away May 22,2025 at home at Silver Creek on Main in Maple Grove after a four year battle with Multiple Myeloma. Born December 19, 1937 in Willmar to Donald and Fern (Carlson) Lindblad. Joey grew up in Svea where at age three she started singing at Svea Lutheran Church. Using her beautiful soprano voice, she sang at many occasions. She was a member of Morris Park Players and was a charter member at Lord of Life Lutheran in Maple Grove where she sang in the choir and was a member of the OWLs. Joey loved to travel with friend, Joan, drove, flew and cruised to many places. Joey was an avid Twins & Wolves fan. She worked for over 35 years at Pillsbury. Joey is survived by brother, Phil (Barb); sister, Jeanie Young; their children and grandchildren; best friend, Joan Holmes, many relatives and good friends. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
