Obituary of Eric Todd Erickson

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our wonderful son, Eric, on May 8, 2025.

Muscular Dystrophy may have taken away his strength but not his spirit, sense of humor and quick wit.

Eric never complained about his struggles, but was rather invested in what he loved; watching sports, The Vikings had no greater fan.  He also enjoyed going to sports card shows at the mall, playing fantasy football, music, and watching WWE Wrestling with his friend, Paul, who we would like to thank for being such a good friend all these years.

Eric graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1990 and attended Lake Superior College.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernie and June Erickson and Henry and Evelyn Burger; and uncle, David Burger.

Eric is survived by his parents, Larry and Shirley Erickson of Hermantown; Sibling, Sheri (Bruce) Sexson of Eden Prairie; aunt, Deanna Anderson of Indiana and aunt, Sally Burger of Duluth.

Eric will be dearly missed and is now free to walk in Heaven.  The family will have a private burial at a later date.
