Obituary of Roger Allen Greene

Roger Allen Greene, 97, departed this life on May 8, 2025 at his home in Maplewood. He was born in St. Paul on November 20, 1927.

Roger is survived by daughters Cindy Janowski (John), Penny Greene, Shari Haselmann (Pete), and son Terry Greene. He is also survived by 12 grandkids, 23 great grandkids, and 8 great great grandkids. Plus other extended family members and friends. Roger is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Sylvia Greene (Lehman), daughter Nancy Allen, son William (Bill) Greene and two grandchildren. 

Roger served in the U.S. Navy in 1946-1947. He loved spending time with family and friends, just hanging out, shootin' the breeze, and teasing everyone around him. In his younger years, fishing was a favorite pastime. He was a good man with a big heart who was always willing to help anyone with anything. He always said he was a Jack of all trades but a master of none. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Cremation Society Chapel at 1979 Old Hudson Rd, St. Paul, MN 55119 on June 1st at 10:00 AM with donuts and coffee provided, followed by a short memorial service at 11:30 AM.
