Joan Demma, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 7th, 2025, at the age of 82. Born January 1st, 1943, in Saint Paul, MN, Joan was one of 9 children, growing up surrounded by family and love, a theme that would carry throughout her life. 

On September 8th, 1962, Joan married the love of her life, Robert Demma. Their marriage, spanning an incredible 63 years, was a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a family that was the center of Joan’s world. Raising her children: Therese and Michael, was one of her greatest accomplishments. 

Joan’s greatest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Known affectionately as “grandma,” she delighted in the lives of Rachel, Alyssa, and Daltyn, and found immense happiness in her great-grandchildren Noah, Ella, and Tray’varis. Her home was always a welcoming haven, filled with warmth and laughter, where family gathered to create countless cherished memories. 

Those who knew Joan will remember her as a loving and welcoming presence, whose greatest pride was her family. A celebration of life will be held at The Lodge of Little Canada, 2800 Rice Street, Little Canada, MN 55113, on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, at Noon until 4.
