Obituary of James Leslie Becker

James Leslie Becker, 87, of Champlin, MN passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025. Jim was born in Marshall, MN on July 26, 1937 to Leslie and Alice Becker.

He graduated from the University of Minnesota and served six years in the Army National Guard. He spent the majority of his career at Honeywell.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Norene, sister Gail (Vern), brother Robert (Rebecca), children Philip (Rebecca) and Kurt (Mary Joy), seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, five nieces and one nephew.

Jim will be remembered for his love of traveling, reading, woodworking and home cooking. His kindness and generosity to his family are gifts that will be treasured.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your favorite charity in his name.

A Celebration of Life will take place on May 15, 2025 from 5 to 8pm at Cremation Society of MN Brooklyn Park, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park, MN 55445.
