Obituary of Brenda-Mae Florence Douglas
Brenda-Mae Florence Douglas was born on St. Patrick’s Day, 03/17/1956, in Minneapolis, MN. She was the daughter of Fountaine and Mary Fuller Douglas, who preceded her. Brenda-Mae died peacefully in Robbinsdale, MN on 4/25/2025, at age 69.
Brenda-Mae is survived by daughter, Fountana “Fawnee” Douglas; sisters Bobbie Pricket Beaufeaux and Betty Douglas Lins; and brother Bill Douglas, Sr. Brenda-Mae is missed by many other family members, relatives and friends.
Brenda came from a large family of which three siblings have also passed, Bonny Douglas Tepper, Bruce Douglas, and Barry Douglas.
Brenda-Mae was an outgoing, enthusiastic and religious person. She worked for many years as a receptionist and playground assistant at Powderhorn Park, Minneapolis.
In retirement, Brenda-Mae liked baking, doing various art and craft projects, especially coloring nature scenes, attending services at St. Olaf Catholic Church and spending time with Fawnee. She also liked red roses, lilies, lilacs, 60s, 70s, and R&B music, and lemon and pumpkin bars.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, come anytime between 1:30 – 5:00PM at The Cremation Society, 4343 Nicollet Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55409
Private graveside service and interment held at a later date.
