Micheal Edwin "Mike" Wiggin Obituary

 


Mike passed away early Sunday morning in St. Louis Park, MN at Methodist Hospital. 


He served as a proud navy veteran from 1968-1971. After the Vietnam war, he came home and married his wife, Shelly.  They had two boys and resided in Crystal MN. His passions included his family, friends, traveling and sports. 


He played one year on the Sheboygan Redwings semi pro football team as a full back. He also earned the nickname Powerman due to the amount of weight he could bench press.  He was a high school wrestler; he graduated from Osseo High School and Augsburg College. He was a devoted, loving, caring, and compassionate husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. 


He was preceded in death by his loving wife Shelly, parents MaryAnn and Howard, brothers Patrick, and Wallace, and nephew Robert. 


He is survived by his two sons Aaron and Ryan. Siblings- Penny (Charles) Johnson, Mark (Nancy), Robin, Terry, and Ross. sister-in-law Diane Stueland, brother-in-law Brad Koksma. 


He will be deeply missed. 


 


Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday May 7, 2025,


at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave S. Edina, MN 55435 


Visitation 10am, Service 11am
