O’Brien, Timothy James 

Tim O’Brien, age 75, of St Paul, a loving husband and father, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on April 29, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rose O’Brien and his son Sean. He is survived by his loving wife Holly; son, Ryan; and goddaughter, Mika. 

Tim had a great love for model trains, building LEGO sets, collecting coins and stamps, watching science fiction with Ryan, and reading many books, from adventure novels to historical texts. 

Family will be holding a private service the afternoon of Wednesday May 14th, but invites anyone interested to a Celebration of Tim’s Life on May 17th, 2025 starting at 4:30PM, 1637 Conway St, St Paul MN 55106. Casual attire welcome. 

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to DeMontreville Jesuit Retreat House in Lake Elmo.
