Sandy was born in Duluth, Minnesota to Margaret and Milbur Nelson.

She attended Duluth Denfeld and loved to bowl at Stadium Lanes. She went on to become a cosmetologist and retired from Shawn’s Salon Associates where she finished her career with her dear friends.

Sandy married Larry Sironen in 1976. They spent many years living next to Larry’s parents. Sandy loved taking care of her beautiful gardens and their pets.

Sandy is preceded in death by her husband Larry, parents Milbur and Margaret Nelson, and her Aunts Elaine and Bernice, and Uncle Ronny.

Sandy is survived by her daughter Linzy (Steve) and son Lonny (Maren) and her grandchildren Elijah, Ethan, Anna and Mara, her brother David Nelson and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 31, from 2-4 at the Cremation Society of Duluth, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth, MN 55807.
