Theresa "Dolly" Bear Obituary

Theresa Joyce “Dolly” Stucki was born January 28th, 1930, to Margaret and John Stucki. As the last of 5 children, she quickly received the moniker Dolly due to her resemblance to a beautiful baby doll. The name stuck throughout her life. At an early age Dolly met and married Glen Petree. Together they enjoyed hunting, fishing, travel and many community activities. They had two children, LaNeda and James. Some years after Glen’s death Dolly met and married Peter Cozzetto. The two enjoyed travel and fine dining. During these years Dolly created an active career of assisting the elderly where she met many cherished friends who became family. Dolly’s third husband was Howard Bear. The two enjoyed many cruises, excursions to casinos and were active in their church. Upon Howard’s death Dolly made the decision to move to the Presbyterian Home campus in Bloomington. She moved several times and made many cherished friends. She kept herself busy with chapel activities and committees while caring for many of her fellow residents. Throughout her life Dolly was known for her kind spirit and generous nature.

She is preceded in death by her three husbands, two children, both parents and all her siblings.

She is survived by one son–in-law, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and their children as well as many beloved friends who were truly family.

“Thank you, Lord, for the gift of today and the promise of tomorrow.”

Special thanks to the caring staff at Presbyterian Homes for blessing Dolly’s final years.

God Bless.
