Peter John Baumann, age 79, of Minneapolis, passed away April 10, 2025. “John” was born in 1945 in Des Moines, IA. He is survived by his family, Susan Baumann (beloved wife), Rebecca Ellingwood (Jeff), Bryan Baumann (Kristie), and he was a newly minted grandfather to Sophie Baumann. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosanne and Peter Baumann, and loved by his siblings, JoAnn Martin (Edward; in memoriam), Mary Ann Schiefen (Raymond; in memoriam), Edward Baumann and Paul Baumann (Julie). He cherished his dogs, was devoted to his family, and had a special place in his heart for people in need. A courageous person and veteran, he graduated life with honor, and without regret.
