Howard R. Bryden

Howard " Howie" R was born on April 26, 1929 in Berwick, PA. and passed away on April 17th, 2025 in Eagan, MN. He spent his youth in Connecticut and received a degree in business from the University of Connecticut. Howie started his insurance career in Hartford, and relocated to the Twin Cities in 1963. He worked at T.C.Field Insurance Co. in St. Paul until he retired in 1994.

Howie was an avid golfer, and enjoyed playing with friends at Southview Country Club. He also loved to bowl in the Mary Mother of the Church couples league at Burnsville Bowl. Spending time with family and watching his grandchildren participate in youth sports were also favorite pastimes.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Jacqueline, parents David & Naomi Bryden, sister Betty, and brothers Robert and Albert (Jim). He is survived by his four children and their spouses: Mark Bryden (Ann Casey), Lynn (Brad Pounds), Lori (Tom Wageman), Scott (Pam Bryden), ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
