Celebrating the Life of Thomas Dahlmeir

Thomas Dahlmeir, born on May 4, 1948, in Minneapolis, MN, graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis. Proudly serving in the U.S. Army, Tom continued his mission by driving the Vets Van every week, ensuring that stories and jokes arrived on time, along with the veterans. He spent much of his career in retail grocery management.

Tom was known for his big personality, love for conversation, playing cards and watching football, during which, he enjoyed making casual side bets with his sons and grandchildren. It was his favorite way of giving away his money while keeping everyone on their toes. He loved his Leesome Lake place view in Spooner WI, where family and friends were always welcomed with good drinks and great eats. In his later years, Tom took every opportunity to travel and explore new places.

Tom is now reunited with his beloved wife Ardis Dahlmeir, and his parents, William and Helen Dahlmeir. Tom is survived by his lucky-to-find new love and travel companion, Peggy Sue Weber, who shared his passion for adventure. Left to continue his legacy are his Sons Thomas Dahlmeir II, Charles (Sherri) Dahlmeir, Jason (Holly) Dahlmeir, and his cherished grandchildren MacKenzie, Lauren, Ethan, and Nolan Dahlmeir. He’s also survived by his brother Dennis (Joyce) Dahlmeir, sisters Patricia Potts, Mary (Gary) Semmer, and nieces and nephews.
