Audrey Joan Peterson

1935 - 2025

Audrey Joan Peterson, age 89, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother peacefully made her transition on April 5, 2025, in her home under hospice care. She was born in Brainerd, Mn, and spent much of her youth in Flensburg and Little Falls, Mn.

Her life took so many different paths – but her passion, determination and devotion to finding her purpose brought to fruition her true calling as Unity Minister and founder of Unity of the Valley Spiritual Center in Savage, Mn in 1990. She retired in 2013 after 23 years of service. Audrey left with us a beautiful legacy, much of which is detailed in her memoir, Here on Purpose. She then went on to share her messages that she gave over the years in her second book, Navigating the Spiritual Life.

Audrey will forever live on in our hearts

Preceded in death by Oscar Erickson (father), Olive Erickson (mother), Brendon Rackow (grandson)

She is survived by her loving husband, Del; daughters Georgia, Becky (Mark), son Niel (Denise); brother Alan (Gerry); grandchildren Adam (Angie), Kara (Ryan), Gaston (Olga), and Katie (Justin); great grandchildren Corey, Kyle, Courtney, Brooke, Ava, Tommy and Vera.

A Celebration of Life

will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 / 12 Noon to 3 p.m.

There will be a space at the celebration dedicated to those that wish to

write down their thoughts and memories or bring pre-written sentiments

for the family to keep and read at a later time
