Beverly Harris Mason Obituary

Beverly (Bev) Harris Mason left this life on April 8, 2025 at the age of 93. She was a resident of White Pines Senior Living in Blaine, MN. Beverly was born in Okanogan, WA, the daughter of Rowland Harris and Bernice (Blomquist) Harris. She lived in Seattle, WA until she left home to attend Bethel College (now Bethel University) where she met her husband to be, James Russell Mason.


After their marriage she worked as a Xray Tech until their children were born. From that point she became a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Her outside interests and skills were focused on music and art. She was an enthusiastic participant in choirs and small vocal groups. Her artistry produced many fine works in a variety of media. She was also a devoted Christian who was active in a variety of congregations.


Beverly was proceeded in death by her parents, Rowland and Bernice, brother Kendall and his wife Lynda (Runbeck) Harris, sister-in-Law June (Blake) Harris, wife of Richard.


She is survived by her husband of 73 years James Mason, brother Richard Harris, sister-in-law Sandra (Quam) Harris (wife of Kendall), children Joanna Hedtke and Alan Hedtke (spouse), Kyle Mason and Elaine(Sweet) Mason (spouse), Lynn Evans and Don Rust (spouse), grandchildren Mason Mcclain, Quinn and Annie Evans, Alanna Hedtke, great grandchildren Coral Mcclain, Willow and Eden Campbell.


A celebration service and interment will be held following the death of her devoted husband Jim.
