Obituary of Sara Beth VanHeel

Sara Beth VanHeel of St. Michael, MN passed away on April 12, 2025 from Alzheimer’s disease. Sara deeply loved Les, her husband of 39 years, their children and spouses: Amanda & Cory Vest, Abby & Nate Conroy, Amy & Tyler Seamons, Annika VanHeel, and their seven grandchildren. She was born June 16, 1962 in Virginia, MN.

Sara’s best days were spent with Les, the love of her life, on the pontoon, the motorcycle, at the cabin, and traveling together. They shared the delight of being grandparents. Sara took great joy in creating a home that welcomed many to the warmth of her hospitality and care. She took pleasure in family gatherings and a great cup of coffee with friends.

Sara served at Grace Fellowship in Brooklyn Park for 32 years, serving as the Women’s Ministry Director and the Kids and Family Pastor. She is dearly remembered for her ministry to families and kids. Her smile and care showed every family how much they were loved. Her ministry touched and influenced the lives of many to know Jesus.

Celebration: Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Grace Fellowship, Brooklyn Park, MN. Visiting Hour -10:00am, Service -11:00am, with lunch to follow.
