Stanley Lawrence Clasen Jr., age 86, of Bloomington, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025.

Stanley was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jileen; his parents, Stanley Lloyd and Elizabeth Clasen; his brothers Lloyd, Fred, Terry; brother-in-law, Roger; sisters-in-law Muggs and Sharron.

He is survived by his daughter Sheryl (Ron); son Todd; daughter Lisa (Lew); grandson Chad; stepchildren Rhonda, Stacey, Gaye, Chris, and Joy; sisters Joan and Karen (Steve); first wife Janice; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, grandchildren and extended family members.

Stanley lived a full and active life. He enjoyed spending time on the golf course, curling with family and friends, and exploring new places through his travels. He will be remembered for his warmth, quiet strength, and sense of adventure.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 6, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the St. Paul Curling Club located at 470 Selby Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55102.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Stanley’s memory by enjoying a round of golf, a good trip, or time spent with loved ones.
