We are saddened to share the passing of Thomas Ambrose, 79, of Minneapolis , MN on March 5, 2025.

Tom was a loving partner for 17 years to Carrie and is survived by sister Mary Lou, son Timothy and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by wife Kathryn ( in 1994) as well as parents Leo and Mary and sister Anna Mary

We will remember Tom for his kindness, friendship and his deep faith.

Thomas attended Sacred Heart School in Robbinsdale , Benilde- St Margaret High School, St John’s University in Collegeville and graduated from the University of Minnesota.

Before he retired, Tom had a successful career in broadcasting including WCCO TV, KQRS, WWTC, WCCO FM, KUOM and as an executive at Minnesota News Network.

Tom loved watching Nascar racing and many other sports. He was an avid cyclist including riding the MS Tram across the state of Minnesota multiple times.

A funeral will be Friday, April 25, 2025 at Church of the Sacred Heart in Robbinsdale.

Visitation at 10am with the funeral at 11am
