Obituary of Thomas L. Nielsen

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Thomas L. Nielsen, 73, of Oakdale, MN who passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Tom was a loving father, partner, sibling, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Tom was known for his kindness, hard work, love for fishing, hunting, working out, and most of all, his family. Tom will be cremated, and to honor him, we will have a memorial service and reception on Friday, April 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the Cremation Society of Minnesota - St. Paul location, 1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul, MN 55119. All who knew and loved Tom are welcome to attend. Tom is survived by his daughter, Michelle Nielsen, his partner, MaryAnn Chowen (and family), siblings, Gary (Lori) Nielsen and Marion Baker. Tom is now reunited with his beloved son, T.J., other family & friends. May you rest in peace.
