Diana Lynn McGrath (nee Duffy) age 68, of Lakeville. The angels rejoiced on this day with the return of one of their own. Diane passed away on March 24, 2025 after a brave fight with cancer.

She graduated from Edison High School in ’75. Growing up she loved spending countless hours at her Grandma’s store, Duffy’s Grocery, on Lowry N.E. She worked at St. Mary’s Hospital and Republic Airlines where she bridged her north and south side friends for life.

She married John in 1983 beginning their 42 year journey. They were blessed with their first-born Michael Duffy in 1985 and followed by their firecracker Megan Lynn in 1988. Diane continued her career in Lakeville and retired from Dakota County Human Services.

After many adventures and raising a family, she earned her favorite title of Grammy DD.

Preceded in death by parents, Bernie & Evelyn. Survived by loving husband John, children Mike and Megan (Ben) Muelken, Granddaughters Madelyn and Emma; Sisters Sue Moe and Terri (Mike) Filas; Sister-in-law Monica (John) Focht, Brothers-in-law Tim (Donna), Mark (Nancy) and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life will be April 10th from 4-8pm at 1114 American Blvd, Bloomington Event Ctr. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Donations to PanCan.org/donate.
