Kathryn Post Obituary

Kathryn Anne Miller Post, 81, of Eden Prairie/Edina, passed away peacefully on March 20th after a long battle following a brain bleed stroke in April 2022.


She is survived by her husband, Roger; daughter, Anne; son, Andrew, wife, Patty; grandchildren, William, Christopher, and Lillian.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lillian.


Kathy attended college at Cotty College, Naveda, MO, Uni of MN, Mankato College earning her master’s degree and worked on her doctorate degree in teaching from the Uni of MN, and dedicated over 35 years to the Richfield School System. She was passionate about education, volunteering with PEO and the Edina Federated Women’s Club. She loved traveling, summers at the cabin up north, traveling Europe and winters in Florida.


The family would like to thanks Hospice of the Midwest for their compassionate care with Kathy and requests that memorials be directed to them to continue their work for those in need.


A ceremony will be held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Edina on May 2nd, at 11:00am.
