Haridas Meghji Gori was born on the 21st June 1939 in Mumbai India.  He joined the National Defense Academy for Officers and selected the Indian Navy Branch.  Here he had an illustrious 27 years and retired in the rank of Comander. Then he 

moved to Minneapolis Minnesota with his wife Ela to be near their sons, Viren and Jiten and their families.  After a brilliant highly decorated Naval Career. Haridas reinvented himself in the person of a simple regular civilian and doting grandfather. His four grandchildren adored him and brought most of their friends into that ring of happiness. He was highly thought of and virtually a patriarch to the larger Indian Community He loved being  part of the community. To keep himself occupied and engaged, he worked as an independent agent for commercial and personal Insurance. 

He left us in the early hours of Friday March 14th 2025.  He's gone but will not be forgotten.
