Obituary of Gwen Mary Dornfeld

Gwen Mary Dornfeld was the sunshine everywhere she went,   A proud Osseo High School graduate and dance line member she was always ready for the party.   Better yet, the halls of OHS brought her together with Karl.   Gwennie and Karl were married in 1983, raised 3 children and she worked hard for those kids at NSP and Park Brook elementary. She always made time for fun and took great pride in keeping things orderly.   You could count on Gwen for biking, walking their dog Olive,  brewery meet ups, Twins/Vikings/Wild games, boating on Fish Lake with Karl and book club with great friends.   Together they made their beach house a welcoming retreat for family and all of their friends.  She decorated up a storm in rehabbing that house and loved it.   

The "Christmas Baby" was born to Marge and Rocky Schmidt on Dec 25th, 1961 in Minneapolis and grew up in Brooklyn Park.  Happy memories and a bit of her soul are carried by her husband Karl, Kids - Tera (Bobby and son Linus), Grant and Blake plus her Mom Margie and Sisters Gail and Genie.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rush Creek Golf Club, 7801 County Rd 101, Maple Grove, May 18 from 11am - 3pm.  Please wear something yellow.
