Elaine Edith Olson

Elaine E Olson, of New Brighton, MN passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 10th. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry. Elaine is survived by two sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother and sister, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Elaine spent her career as a dedicated educator for the Minneapolis school district which allowed her to take part in the teacher exchange programs in both Europe and China.

For more than twenty years Elaine and Harry spent their winters together on the Florida Gulf Coast with countless friends and countless happy hours and they always looked forward to leaving the snow behind for the white sugar sand beach and emerald waters of the panhandle.

Elaine and Harry traveled the world extensively, and especially loved visiting China and Europe along with exploring the US and Canada.

There will be a celebration of life this summer with details being shared in the coming weeks.
