Obituary of Frederick James Ridler

Frederick “Fred” James Ridler passed away peacefully at home on March 9, 2025, after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his beloved wife, Leah; his son, Ryan; and his daughter, Jenna. He was 62 years old.

Faith and family were at the heart of his values. Fred was a loving husband, father, and friend. He founded a successful HVAC business, earning the trust and admiration of both his employees and clients.

In his younger years, Fred enjoyed playing hockey, mountain biking, and sailing. He took great pride in being his son Ryan’s mechanic and travel companion during their time on the go-karting circuit.

Fred is survived by his wife, Leah; his son, Ryan; and his daughter, Jenna, and her husband,Stewart Candler.

A remembrance service will be held at New Hope Church in New Hope. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Church or Feed My Starving Children.
