Obituary of Kent Lyle LePage

Ken peacefully passed away at his home in Robbinsdale, MN, on February 5, 2025, just 4 days shy of his 88th birthday. He was born in Morris MN, on February 9, 1937 to T.R. and Shirley (Squier) LePage.  He grew up in nearby Watson, MN until his family moved to Crystal, MN when he was 13 years old.  After high school, Ken enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served for 4 years. Upon discharge from the service, he joined Operating Engineers Local 49 and happily ran heavy equipment for 40 years.

In September of 1959, Ken married Patricia Zellmann and in short order, they purchased their home in Robbinsdale and were blessed with 3 daughters Kimberly, Michelle and Rebecca.

Ken did not let grass grow under his feet, literally, as he loved to mow and take care of his yard and often pitched in to help family and friends with theirs. He also played cribbage with a passion and loved to go fishing and ride his electric bike around Robbinsdale.  In retirement, he worked as a parts runner for Parts Plus for 10 years and enjoyed going to his daughter’s lake place in Alexandria.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Rex LePage, sister, Patti Peterson, granddaughters Malia Taylor and Ashleigh Good, nephew Alan LePage, son in law Richard Remley and sister-in-law Delores Shane Zellmann.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Patricia, daughters Kimberly (David) Good, Michelle (Mike) Taylor and Rebecca Remley; grandsons Zachary and Alexzander Good, granddaughter Stephanie Remley; great grandchildren Owen, Jonathan, Kinsley and Ella Good; brother Jeff (Peggy) LePage; brother-in-law Roger Zellmann and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be especially missed by his beloved lap-cat Lilly.
