Wayne Alan Johnson, age 80, of Maple Grove, MN, died peacefully on Friday, February 7th, 2025 in Robbinsdale, MN surrounded by his family. He was born on June 28th, 1944 in Minneapolis, MN to Arnold and Arlene (Clauson) Johnson.

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Lonnie, and a beloved father to Jennifer Stewart (Richard McMillan), Bradley Johnson (Sharon), and Melissa Johnson. He was also a beloved grandfather to Dustin, Kavin, Caleb and Noah Stewart, Justin and Jaiden Johnson, Nicole (Phil) Evans, Sarah Bettendorf, and Aubrey Keyes and great-grandfather to Josiah, Brooklynn and Ethan Stewart. He cherished the times spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and extended family.

He was a long time employee of Northwestern National Life Ins. Co/Reliastar/ING as a systems analyst for just short of 40 years. When he wasn’t working he always found a way to keep busy. He was creative and artistic in many facets; wood working and turning, stained glass, drawing, painting to name a few. If he didn’t know how to do something he figured it out and improved it.
