SCHWAHN, LEOPOLD  

Age 89 of Robbinsdale, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 18, 2025. 

Beloved husband, father and grandfather Papa, preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Rosemary Schwahn, brother Tony Schwahn and sister Brenda Meissner. 

Survived by wife, Janet, son Fr. Vincent Schwahn (JJ), daughter Rena Jacob (Dan), step-daughters Kate Mies, Kristy Norton (Jeff), sisters Betty Selzler and Janice Wingerter (Conrad), 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

He was born in Strasburg, North Dakota, on November 15, 1935, and was a long-time employee of Byerly’s. 

Memorial Services will be held later in the year.
