Obituary of Connie M Longworth
Connie M. Longworth, 72 of Apple Valley passed away peacefully, after a long battle with metastatic colon cancer, surrounded by family, Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Connie leaned into her faith in Jesus in these last years and was very confident about her Eternal destination.
Connie is survived by her sons Brian and Brent (Alissa), daughter Michelle, step-daughterAngela, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also by sisters Deborah (Mark) & Kathy and last but not least her precious dog Bella. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Tom, her very special twin brother Arnie, and her father and mother Everett and Betty Sowers.
Connie attended Anoka Tech and worked as an administrative assistant in a handful of different roles through the years. She also spent time providing daycare for the neighbor children around her. Toward the end of her working career, Connie compassionately served as a health aide and med passer in senior care. In retirement, she worked at Michaels for fun…and the employee discount! Connie never met a stranger; she is so loved and will be missed by many.
Per Connie’s wishes, there will be a private celebration of life this summer for immediate family only.
A special “Thank You” to Drs. Hutchison & Ganesan as well as the wonderful teams at Senior Helpers, Blaine & Moment’s Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Compassion Coffee in Anoka, MN.
