I grew up with Bobby in Crystal. His wonderful family lived across the street from us. He was a great athlete and I always looked forward to our after-dinner football games in the street
He enjoyed adventure and even went off the Theodore Wirth ski jump. We reconnected at our last high school reunion and it meant a lot to me. My sincere condolences to his family. Thanks for all the memories Bobby. Mitch Pickering

I live across the street from Bob. He was the nicest guy along with his wife.
I will miss seeing him doing yard work and walking his beloved dogs

Met Bob at American Airlines in Chicago and quickly became friends. We worked together in aircraft maintenance and sometimes we worked the same shift and it was always fun working with him. We worked great as a team and had the same thoughts when it came to aircraft maintenance.
During our off time sometimes we would hang out and other times go golfing with our friends Suzie and Mark and always had a great time! We did a lot of crazy things but it was all in fun. He was a very compassionate, outgoing type of guy and always told you like it is.
I am so thankful I was able to spend some time with him this past Christmas and he will remain in my heart forever and will be greatly missed. He is now in a better place with his first love Linda.
Rest in piece my friend.

Bob was so much more than a neighbor, he was a very special man and friend. I met Bob shortly after he and Linda moved in nextdoor shorty after we bought our own home here in Osseo.
Bob was so friendly and outgoing and we seemed to have an instant connection, our both being fellow service members (yes, Airmen and GIs do get along, lol), motorcycle enthusiasts, and Cubs fans. Since then Bob was always there with a friendly smile and a "Hello Nicky" whenever I saw him. I don't think he ever knew that he was in a very select group, as I only let my Mom and Grandma call me Nicky, but somehow it felt natural and ok for him to do so. He was just that kind of a special guy.
Bob was also one of the smartest mechanics I've known. He was always there to help lend a hand, and I always appreciated the explanation that came with his teaching me how to "fix it myself. "
I will never forget one of my most recent memories when we were fixing the breakline on my truck, just a few weeks ago, in my garage, just as it was starting to get cold outside. While it may have taken us a few trips to NAPA, we got 'er done as they say.
While I am sorrowful, I also take solace, as I am sure Bob is happy now that he is back with his one true love Linda, as they share eternity in heaven with each other and their heavenly Father.
Rest in Peace Bob, ya da' Man!
~Nicky
