It is with great regret that we announce the passing of a beloved one. Barbara Leah Rodriguez 58, passed away on Thursday 01/02/2025 at 4:00pm from a massive heart attack at Regions Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother Mr. & Mrs. Lorna Freer, father-in-law Joseph Rodriguez Sr, father and mother-in-law Alfred & Janice Port and sister-in-law Carmen Rodriguez. Along with all her loving animals she adored over the years.

Survived by her loving husband Antonio James Rodriguez Sr, 4 stepchildren Angeline, Janice, Antonio Jr and Jennifer, 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 brother- in-laws Joseph Jr and Dale Rodriguez.

Barb had a big personality. She loved to bake all types of goodies and boy did she get great over the years! She was very creative with it and enjoyed doing it with all her grandchildren. Always coming up with new hot salsa recipes to try at family gatherings. She had such a love for fishing, and she had the best fishing partner that would drive her to any place she wanted to throw a line at. Her most recent enjoyment was Diamond Art. She could do that for hours and has completed so many.

This was very unexpected for our family. We shared our lives with her for 32 years and she will be missed dearly. We just want to take a moment and thank Barb for all she has done for us and for being there for all of us in a time of need many times throughout of lives. We can truly say we wouldn’t know where we would be without her. So, with the most love from all of us Thank you Barb, we love you always. May you rest in peace.
