Obituary of Richard Arlin Rose

Richard Arlin Rose, 78 of Aberdeen, SD, passed away on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024 at Haven Homes Senior Health and Living in Maple Plain, MN.

He was born July 24, 1946, in Aberdeen, SD, to Clarence and Delpha (Dunwoody) Rose.

Richard graduated from Aberdeen Central High School and went on to serve in the US Army serving two tours in Vietnam. After his service, Richard settled in the Minneapolis, MN area with his wife Rosemary, and two daughters Dawn and Brigette. Richard retired from the City of Minneapolis Public Works Department in 2011. During his life, Richard loved his family, Harley Davidson motorcycles, an avid auto enthusiast, and his numerous dogs and cats.

Preceded in death by his wife Rosemary, and daughter Dawn. Richard is survived by his daughter Brigette Rose, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters and brother.

A celebration of life will held at a later date.
