Obituary of David Harold Gillette

David Harold Gillette passed away on December 31st, 2024 at Essentia Health Center at the age of 79 with his family by his side.

Dave was born on December 16th, 1945. He had a passion for racing, he raced Super Stocks for 30 years. He enjoyed building old cars with his son Tom, NASCAR racing and spending time with his family and friends.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Edith Gillette, sister Pat, brother Mike, grandson Joe Thompson, and great granddaughter Luna Thompson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Bonnie (Rich), children Tammy (Chris) Anderson, Tom (Laurie) Gillette, Tricia (Tim) Halvorson, 8 grand children and 11 great grandchildren.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the 18th floor at Essentia, Dr. Wasserman and Dr. Nikcevich, for their loving and compassionate care for Dave.

Per Dave's request there will be no funeral but a Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorials may be sent to the family.
