Lisa Kay Bridgeford was 49 and living in Elk River, MN when she passed away from cancer on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. 

She was born on October 29, 1975 in Bemidji, MN to Glenn and Marie (Pietrzak) Bridgeford. After receiving her diploma from Bemidji High School, Lisa graduated with a BS degree in Chemistry from Bemidji State University and pursued a career in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently working with Padagis, LLC. 

Lisa was a generous soul, and valued relationships with her family, friends, and her cats above all else. She loved spending time with her people, whether shopping, gaming, trying new restaurants, or going to movie theaters (which we all know she also did mainly for the popcorn). 

In addition to all of the good people she called "friend" in her life, Lisa leaves behind her parents and her siblings: Jennifer Wiltse (Derrick Anderson), Jody Bridgeford, Leah Bridgeford (Matt Lorenz), Jill (Eric) Millar, and Andrew Bridgeford. She will also be sorely missed by her nephew, Orion Millar and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Preceding Lisa in death were her paternal grandparents (Percy and Orva Bridgeford), maternal grandparents (Joseph and Lillian Pietrzak) and her cousin (Kris Pietrzak). 

A memorial service is planned for Friday, January 17th at 3pm at the Headwaters Peace Center in Bemidji. Please join us in visitation one hour prior.
