Jan’s love knew no bounds. She welcomed her four children with open arms. She dedicated herself to their care. The family called Hamel, MN home for 35+ years. Jan’s deep sense of family created a welcoming and joyful environment for everyone. She was known for her four-star hospitality. Their home was always open to everyone, especially during the holidays. The fireplace was lit, the bar was full, the table was filled with delicious foods, and always many-many Christmas cookies made with generations of love. Not only did she enjoy being a homemaker and baker, she was a hair dresser, seamstress, true MN Twins and Vikings fan, outstanding coupon shopper and she so enjoyed singing in the St. Anne’s parish choir. Her garden was always filled with a variety of beautiful blooming flowers, her big jewelry, beautifully manicured nails, and a lively polka with Bob at the Medina Ballroom. As snowbirds, they spent many winters in Texas and Arizona, making many trips in their RV to enjoy time with family and friends. Jan always said "Time will Tell" and now we celebrate her time. Her legacy of love, kindness, and sweet treats will continue to live on in all who knew her.
