Nelson, Louis A (Louie), age 88, of Swatara MN passed away Dec 22, 2024.

Louie was born and raised in Hawkins WI. It was there he met and married Alyce Stushek. Together they moved to St Louis Park, MN where they raised their three children. After battling cancer, Alyce passed in 1989. Louie was introduced to Phillis Raley and they married in 1996 blending their two families. Louie and Phillis built a lake-side home in Swatara, MN where they spent many years enjoying family, friends, hunting, fishing, and gardening.

Louie is survived by loving wife Phillis; children Tara Alcorn (Bill), Eric (Audrey), Gene (Jeanette); Phillis' children Wayne Raley (Mary), Sue Brose, Shelly Manke (Jeff), Rodney Raley (Necia); many grand, great and great-great grandchildren.

Celebration of life will be held Friday, Jan 10th, 10:30am - 1:30pm at the Swatara Community Hall. Burial of ashes in Hawkins WI will be planned at a later date.
