Doris “Kay” Erickson

Age 85, Passed away peacefully at Woodlake Healthcare of New Hope, on Wednesday, Dec 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She enjoyed reading. Especially Vince Flynn Novels. She wrote short stories and poems. She liked doing needlepoint. She also liked watching movies with her kids and grandchildren. She liked going out to eat and had a fondness for Chinese cuisine. Her last 6 months she liked going out into the Garden patio of Woodlake to feed the ducks that would frequent the serenity pond. She is survived by two sisters Beverly Kjeseth of Amery, WI., Nancy Engel of Pepin, WI. She is also survived by her four children Tab (Kay), Valli, Robin, Kevin, grandchildren Tom (Katie), Tim (Dottie), Adam (Allie), Randyy (Jolene) Great grandchildren Wyatt, Brooks, Jocelyn and loving relatives and friends, A special thanks to the staff at Woodlake Healthcare and also Park Nicollet Hospice for their compassionate care. Memorials to Park Nicollet Foundation and or to the charity of your choice. Private Celebration of Life will be held Spring of 2025.
