Obituary of Terrence Creighton Buus

Terrence Creighton Buus, 88, a lifelong Duluth resident, passed away peacefully on December 6th 2024.

He was born to William and Edith Buus on November 16, 1936. He graduated from Denfeld in 1955. On April 26th 1958 he married the love of his life Kay Knutsen. Together they raised 5 children.

He went on to become a Carpenter and owner of CB Construction company. Over the years he built many beautiful homes and businesses in the Duluth area.

He was a longtime member and volunteer at First Luthern Church. He also spent countless hours volunteering for Meals on wheels, the Food Bank, Chum and Habitat for Humanity.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Kay, his parents, sister Virginia, sister-in-law Joan Knutsen, son-in-law Thomas Considne, and his grandson Cody Creighton Buus.

He is survived by his children Cindy Considine, Lynn (Mark) Houle, Todd (Jody) Buus, Craig (Lisa) Buus and Scott (Jenny) Buus. His grandchildern  Matthew, Kyle, Derek, (Brianne) Rory, Paul, Ryan, Considine, Kelci, (Kyle) Huggins, Austin, Trent Buus. His great grandchildern Hadley, Riley, Alexandra and Luke Considine, Avery Houle and Maximus Creighton Buus, aka Maximus George Peysar.

The family would like to thank Open Arms Senior Living for their tremendous care and compassion they gave to our father, also Essentia Hospice and especially Karen.
