Obituary of Kevin Alan Tuttle

Kevin Alan Tuttle of Hugo, MN passed away at the age of 66 on December 5, 2024. He was born on December 19, 1957 in Mankato, MN. He lived and worked in the Twin Cities his entire life.

For many years Kevin was employed in the mental health field. He was especially proud of his work as a job coach, training mentally challenged adults to help them succeed in the workplace.

Kevin was a natural athlete and participated in numerous sports, including basketball, soccer, and track and field. In his senior year at Mounds View High school he was on the 440 meter relay team, and they held the state record. He also played semi-pro soccer when he was younger. He had a passion for golf and played regularly with friends. More recently, Kevin participated in a bocce ball league. 

Kevin liked to socialize with neighbors and friends. He started a poker club at his apartment complex, and played monthly with other residents. He enjoyed taking walks with his dog Eddie, and often brought him along when visiting family and friends, and running errands. Kevin also enjoyed hiking along the North Shore.

Preceded in death by parents Kenneth and Geraldine Tuttle.

Survived by twin brother Kraig, sister Karen Routhe (Scott), and nephews Christopher Routhe, Justin Routhe, and Austin Tuttle.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be held this spring/summer. The time and place will be determined later.
