Obituary of Margaret Helen Ustrud

Margaret Helen Ustrud (Repulski)

 

Born February 16, 1931 to Edward and Marie Repulski.

 

Preceded in death by her husband, Clayton; parents, Edward and Marie; sister, Joyce; and brothers, Calvin and Edward.

 

Survived by her children, Todd (Toni) Ustrud of Rapid City, SD and Robyn Scott of Lakeville, MN; special son-in-law, Steve Scott of Shakopee, MN; grandchildren, Amanda Scott, Joe (Nataly) Scott, Ami Ustrud and Britt Newell; 4 great-grandchildren, Payton, Gia, Carly and Lidia.

 

Marge and Clayton married September 15, 1951 in Sauk Rapids, MN. She was married to the love of her life for 68 years, and they were blessed with 2 children.

 

Marge and Clayton met while he worked at GMAC and she worked at Warren Cadillac. After her children were born and they moved to Huron, SD, she chose to stay home for a few years. She later worked for John Hancock Insurance and Meese, Peterson and Foss Architects in Huron.

 

They retired to Des Moines, IA in 1985 and later moved to Apple Valley, MN in 2001, where they enjoyed their grandchildren and many friends. Mom’s last move was to Emerald Crest Memory Care in Burnsville in 2022.

 

Marge was very proud to be a wife and took such good care of Clayton over the years, and cherished time with her children and grandchildren, creating memories that will last forever. She left this world very much at peace with her life.

 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm with a visitation at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 20 at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Rich Valley, 14385 Blaine Avenue East, Rosemount, MN 55068.
