Obituary of Steven Neil Lampman

Steven Lampman was born in Waseca, MN and adopted by Henrietta and Neill Lampman.  He grew up to be a master printer and leather artisan.  Steve owned his own print shop in Waseca and made handbags from deer leather in his spare time.  He married five times and was blessed with three children.

He is survived by his 5th wife, Brenda, son, Todd (Melinda) Petersen of California, daughters Lynette Merritt of California and Michelle (Paul) Gunness of Florida; eight grandchildren, Darrick, Dustin, David, Drew, McKenzie, Hannah, Alex and Alissa; Great Grandchildren, Brodie, Elijah, Max, Zander, Griffin, Asher, Natalee, Carter, Emma and Hailey.

After retirement, he and his wife toured the southwest selling their exclusive leather bags at Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum show in Phoenix along with other museum shows.  When bags became too difficult to make they changed to cowboy hat bands that sold exclusively to Peyote Bird Designs in Santa Fe.

Memorial Services to be held Friday, December 13th at 11 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 1851 Marie Lane, North Mankato, MN
