Obituary of Beverly Pietz

Beverly Ann Pietz, age 80, a resident of Randall, MN, passed away on November 29, 2024, at Lakewood Hospital in Staples, MN.  Visitation will be at 10:00 am on December 7, 2024 and the Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 am. at the Randall Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Michael Hartwell officiating. 

Beverly was born in Bismarck, ND on July 20, 1944, to Clara (Schutz) and Ernest Becker.  Beverly graduated from Little Falls High School in 1962 and soon after met her husband.  She was married to Gary Pietz in Randall, MN on February 15, 1964.  They lived in the Chaska area until 1976, and then moved to their current residence in Randall, MN.  They were blessed with four children: Terri, Kim, Michelle and Robert (Bobby).

Beverly and Gary purchased Artistic Cultured Marble, Inc in 1979. Bev was the CEO, Office Manager, Part Time Delivery Driver, Janitor and all the other duties related to co-owning your own business.  They sold and retired from their well-established business in 2000.  Beverly was a caring, loving and adored wife and mom.   Beverly loved tending flowers in her flower gardens, gardening fresh vegetables, bird watching, camping, fishing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.  She was a member of the Randall Presbyterian Church and served as a Deacon, Elder, and led the sunrise Easter breakfast and also the church’s beef stew fundraiser for many years. 

Beverly Pietz is survived by her husband Gary, four children, Terri (Kevin) Hedquist of Rogers, MN; Kimberly Simon of Lakeville, MN; Michelle (Jerome Kahl) Pietz of Randall, MN; Bobby (Linda Drong) Pietz of Little Falls, MN; Eleven Grandchildren and Twenty Great-Grandchildren; brother Jack (Jane) Becker and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Clara and Ernest Becker; two siblings, Dean and Betty Jane; and grandson, Tyler Johnson.
