James Edward Kelley, born March 28, 1971, passed away Feb. 19, 2024 after bravely battling cancer and putting up a strong fight for the past seven years. James was the rock for his family. He worked for the Federal Bureau of Prison for 27 years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and coaching the Wrenshall and New Richland boys’ baseball teams. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially the adventures he had with his granddaughter Kinsley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Autumn, his boys Brennan and Wyatt and his granddaughter Kinsley. His mom and dad Donna and Bill, his siblings Bill (Laura), Jan (Tony) and Jennifer, his sister-in-law Heather (Brett), lots of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, great nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents. His mother and father-in-law, aunts, uncles and cousin.

A Celebration of Life will be held at SonLife Church in Wrenshall, MN on March 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm with visitation one hour prior.
