Charles P. Velure Obituary
Charles P. Velure, 83, of Wayzata, Minnesota, formerly of Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023 surrounded in love by family. He will be laid to rest at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery; Avoca, Minnesota.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, 5:00pm at First Memorial Edina Chapel, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, MN 55435; phone # 952-924-4100. Visitation starting at 4:00 pm before the service.
Grateful for having shared his life is his wife LaRita; his sons, John Velure and Jeff Theis; his daughters, Christine Velure Roholt, Kathryn Velure, Amy DePoint and Jackie Theis; one granddaughter and four grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; George Wenande, Evelyn (Cummings) Stoudt, and Kenneth Velure.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
