Amy Margaret Larson, Age 103, passed in peace on August 18, 2016
Amy is survived by her sons; Ralph, James and David, and daughters-in-law; Joyce, Teri , and Judy; special former daughter-in-law Carolyn Larson; her grandchildren; Julie (Scott) Dunmire, Wendy (Al) Batto, Kristin (Rick) Palm, Jana Larson, Karl (Melissa) Larson, and Audra (Brent) Engebretson.
Amy (Grandma Mimi) was blessed with eight great grandchildren and embraced the extended families of Joyce, Teri and Judy. She is survived by sister-in-law Alice Lindquist; nieces and nephews, and many cherished friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Douglas Larson; sisters Sadie, Florence, Myrtle, Alice, Marcella, and Linnea; and brothers Levi, Edgar, Henry, Emil, Carl, and Robert Lindquist; daughter-in-law Janet Larson.
Amy M. Lindquist was born on December 14, 1912, in Lafayette Township, Nicollet County, Minnesota, to Lars John and Anna (Webster) Lindquist. On July 13, 1935, she was married to Douglas Larson. She lived for 58 years in Minnesota before moving with Doug to Sequim, Washington in 1971, where she lived until moving back to Minnesota in 2008.
Amy enjoyed family, flowers, birds, and gardening. She loved working crossword puzzles, playing games of all kinds, especially Rummy Cube. Amy quilted and embroidered. She was cared for by many, many amazing “angels” – thank you, all. She will be deeply missed.
