Obituary of Mark Edward Gates

Mark Edward Gates, 59, of Duluth, passed away on Tuesday, Sept 6, 2016 of natural causes in his home. He was born on July 14, 1957 to Gail and Lorraine Gates in Duluth. Mark graduated from Duluth Denfeld and was involved in coaching baseball/softball and bowling. In his earlier years he enjoyed fishing and hunting and went on to collecting with his father and traveling. He also enjoyed working at the United States Postal Services which he was at for 25+ years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gail and Lorraine Gates; and his sister, Cynthia Shetterly. Mark is survived by his niece, Jenny (Ryan) Merritt; and their daughter.
