Family and friends will gather at Gethsemane Lutheran Church at 11am Saturday, May 1 to honor the memory of Kari Jean who slipped quietly into eternal life early morning February 23, 2021 at St. John's Maplewood Hospital. She was born May 2, 1969, to Patricia Jean Nordhausen and the late David Eugene Nordhausen in St. Paul, Minnesota. Those missing her much loved smiling presence, in addition to her mother, include sister Jodi Nordhausen, brother Jonathan Nordhausen, his wife, Yuki and their daughter Gretchen Jean, and many aunts and cousins. Kari confidently looked forward to regaining health, returning to the kitchen design work she enjoyed at Woodbury Home Depot and being with her colleagues. Gethsemane Church is located at 2410 Stillwater Road, Maplewood. In consideration of current health advisories, a formal visitation and reception is not planned.
