Obituary of Merlin Ilo Parzych

Merlin Ilo Parzych, 86, of Superior, WI passed away April 25, 2021 at his home. Born on July 24, 1934 in Wentworth, WI to Beatrice and Stanley Parzych. He attended Cooper Elementary and Central High Schools.

Merlin married Claria Nelson of Superior on February 16, 1957. He served two terms in the Navy in the Korean War. He worked for Georgia Pacific as a Crane Operator retiring in 1996. Merlin was a life member and Post Commander of VFW Post 847. He enjoyed spending time with his 3 great grandchildren and trips to the casino.

Survived by Wife, Claria; Children Charlene (Anthony) Certano, and Edward; 2 grandchildren Chad (Brenda) Danielson, Nicole (Jason) Black; 3 great-grandchildren, Caden, Gracie, Bauer; Brother Donald (Pat) Parzych; Sister Lois (Ron) Clark; and many nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by Parents and brothers, Stanley and Russell.
